Comprehensive Eye Exams

Vision testing for diabetes, macular degeneration and glaucoma are becoming more necessary as our population ages.

Eyetech Visioncare recommends the elective Wellness scan, which provides the latest in technology to screen for the above diseases. The comprehensive eye exam includes retinal imaging by our Optomap, which records a digital view of your retina that we can compare yearly. The Optomap can also show diabetic eye changes in the retina.

A second part of the exam includes the Optovue OCT, which maps the macula in layers to measure retinal thickness. Retinal thickness changes can indicate a disease process such as glaucoma.

We utilize the best materials and solutions that can extend wearing time for our dry eye patients.
