Comprehensive Eye Exams

Vision testing for diabetes, macular degeneration and glaucoma are becoming more necessary as our population ages. Our comprehensive eye exams

Eyetech Visioncare recommends the elective Wellness scan, which provides the latest in technology to screen for the above diseases.  The comprehensive eye exam includes retinal imaging by our Optomap, which records a digital view of your retina that we can compare yearly. The Optomap can also show diabetic eye changes in the retina.

A second part of the exam includes the Optovue OCT, which maps the macula in layers to measure retinal thickness. Retinal thickness changes can indicate a disease process such as glaucoma.

Contact Lens Evaluations

A good contact lens fit starts with a thorough eye exam to ensure the most up-to-date prescription and rule out any  pre-existing conditions that could interfere with contact lens wear.

We are baby boomer optometrists and know about the need for reading glasses. The latest soft contacts now offer Bifocal/Multifocal lenses designs to help with your computer and near point distance. Why pull out those readers when going to dinner, when you can have the latest in soft lens contacts?

Air Optix Colors have reinvented the colored lens of the past with the latest in silicon based materials. Now the patient can be comfortable wearing a lens that gives an appropriate amount oxygen to their cornea with the Air Optix Colors. Our area is dry which makes contact lens wear difficult. We utilize the best materials and solutions that can extend wearing time for our dry eye patients.
